Ettlingen is situated on the outskirts of Karlsruhe, only 10 kilometers away and easily reachable by tram in 20 minutes from Karlsruhe Mainstation. The picturesque old town with its medieval lanes and the nice pedestrian precinct makes up the flair of the city centre.

Public transport: city tram Karlsruhe Main Station -Ettlingen
Tram-stop next to the venue "Buhlsche Mühle" is "Ettlingen Albgaubad".
From Karlsruhe Main Station (please go outside the Main Station building, from where the trams and busses are leaving)
Take tram S1 (final destination "Bad Herrenalb" or Ettlingen) or S11 (final destination "Ittersbach"), (leaving every 20 minutes, taking approx. 15 minutes ) to Ettlingen Albgaubad.
Important note: please don't take express trams (named "Eilzug"), because they only stop at "Ettlingen Stadt".
From there you can walk to the venue in 10 minutes (see Ettlingen map).
Tickets available at the the ticket-machines at the tram stop or ath the KVV-office outside the main train station builduing on the left side, or directly in the trams.
Chose "single ticket" costing 3,60 € or Day Ticket Cityplus which is valid for one calendar day for up to 5 people, costing 10,90 €.
Important note: To validate you have to stamp the ticket in the tram.

Tram-stop next to the venue "Buhlsche Mühle" is "Ettlingen Albgaubad".
Take tram S1 (final destination "Hochstetten" or Neureut) or S11 (final destination "Hochstetten"), (leaving every 10 minutes, taking approx. 16 minutes ) to "Karlsruhe, Hbf Vorplatz"(Karlsruhe Main Station).
Then Take tram 4 (final destination "Waldstadt") , (leaving every 10 minutes, taking approx. 15 minutes ) to "Karlsruhe, Kronenplatz".
From there you can walk to the "NTI-Hörsaal"(the lecture hall is called NTI), building Number 30.10, in 10 minutes.

Travel by car
The venue "Buhlsche Mühle" is also easily reachable by car.
- Leave the motorway A5 Frankfurt-Basel and take the exit: "Ettlingen/Rüppurr"
- Take the direction "Ettlingen"
- stay on "Karlsruher Straße"
- take the third exit on the third roundabout
- stay on "Pforzheimer Straße", after approx. 1 km you have reached the venue "Buhlsche Mühle"
A few parking spaces free of charge are direcly on the site of the location or on the parking level of the "Albgaubad" (please leave "Pforzheimer Straße" into the direction "Luisenstraße".
